Persuasive Letter

Dear Mrs.Goins,

     I want a classroom pet because some pets need shelter.  We will prevent pets from getting put to sleep.  If we get a classroom pet we will be more responsible for taking care of nature.

     Pets need homes to live in and to get taking care of.  When pets get put to sleep there life is in great death.  If we get a classroom pet we would learn how to be more caring for living and non living things. 

     I know that you might say " Kids in the class will fight over who will feed and take care of our pet".  You also might fire at me that some rodents are stinky, and I know you might say that who would take care of pets on holidays?

     We could take turns taking care of the pet, so we will own more responsibility.  We could get an animal that is not dreadful or stinky.  On holidays you could pick the person who has been very nice to keep the class pet.

     Imagine kids having a joyful time playing with a pet in our classroom.  This would give us an opportunity in class to learn about nature and animals life cycle.
