Dear Mrs.Goins
I want a classroom pet because it teaches us to be good owners. And would do team work to take care of the classroom pet. We would do team work, responsibility, and last but not least to keep the classroom pet alive.
We could take turns taking the class pet home on the weakens and on holidays because you are bessy on the weakens and we can do it in number order to bring the class pet home on the weakens.
Mrs.Goins will say no because she is allergic to animals with alot of fur predie much like cats and dogs with alot of fur.
The classroom pet would probably stink up the room and we would need to clean the tank or cage and we would have to feed the classroom pet. We could take the classroom pet home on the holidays even on thanksgiving.
Imagine walking into a classroom where children are happily loving their classroom pet.

My class are going to be doing persuasive letter writing this coming week. I wonder whether they will do as good a job as you to persuade their readers. I think Mrs Goins should let you have a class pet. We have an african land snail they are very easy to look after. Maybe you could research them and tell Mrs Goins how to look after them.

They are not allowed in the US for health risk reasons. I am thinking a stuffed animal would be perfect ; o )
