   Charlie is a ranch dog a lazy ranch dog. He ''Thinks he is helping '',but is really dozing.Suzie is the real helper. The only work that Charlie dose is help make lunch.Suzie on the other hand is work-en hard.  If you ask she would say ''It would take 50 charlies to equal how much work I do.''  I think the Author did a great job a describing charlie a lazy & Suzie as helpful like Charlie said ''I'd better go wake up Suzie", but I think it should be the other way around I would give this book ****stars.
   This book reminds me of my dog, She loves food just like charlie.You can NOT repeat can NOT turn your back on her or she will be eating a bone. To find out what Charlie will do next read the book, and maybe being lazy is not so bad after all.
