100 Word Challenge: Why kids should blog in the classroom

Imagine a classroom with no walls- where students could learn and communicate globally.  Paper and pencil would be replaced with digital publishing, and the traditional bullitin board outside the teacher's door would span the globe.
Digital diaries, or digital publishing, gives students an authentic purpose for their writing.  Comments encourage stdents to want to write more, teaches them important communication, and critiquing skills.
Internet safety would be a primary concern for our students, who would be taught netiquette and that abuse of blogging would result in loss of computer access.
Please reconsider student's access to blogs and support global-learning!

That's great that's a 100 words and you include what you want.
